Above: A 3 shot group at 50m with a .40cal round ball percussion muzzle loader.  The load was 40gr FFFg powder, 0.018 cotton drill patch lubed with Beaver Grease™ Patch Lube and the bore was prepared each shot with Beaver Grease™ 'Tween Shots Wipin' Fluid.  Projectile was a cast .395 round ball.

Above: Believe it or not there are 3 bullets holes in this photo.  This 50m target was shot with a .40cal flintlock s pushing a .395 cast round ball in a 0.018 inch cotton drill patch lubed with Beaver Grease™ Patch lube over 30gr of 3Fg black powder.  Yes, flinters ARE accurate.
